Get Ready for Kindergarten!
Join us for popsicles on the playground:
Thursday, June 6, 2024
5:15 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
This event for enrolled kindergarten families. It is at our school with current kindergarten teachers and staff, where your future kindergartener will practice going through the cafeteria line to get a popsicle, go outside to the playground area, and meet other students and families who will be starting in the fall.
Join us for Jump Start:
Jump Start is Wednesday, August 21 to Friday, August 23, 2024.
9:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Jump Start helps incoming kindergarten students and their parents be ready to start school. This program is free and open to all incoming students who are registered for kindergarten at a Highline elementary school.
Jump Start helps children familiarize themselves with their new school, kindergarten teacher, classmates, and daily schedule before school starts in September.
During Jump Start, each school hosts a family meeting to learn about the school, meet teachers, and find out how to support your child’s learning. Our parent meeting will be on Friday, August 23 at 9:15 a.m.

Join us at our districtwide Family Welcome to Kinder Event on Saturday, June 8 from 9:00 am to noon at Puget Sound Skills Center (18010 8th Ave S, SeaTac).
