DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP
What does it mean to be a digital citizen? All year, our students have learned how to be safe, respectful, responsible, and kind citizens of Marvista. In the library, we are learning how important it is to be safe, respectful, responsible, and kind citizens in digital spaces, too!
- Media Balance – Balancing screen time with non-screen time is responsible. If you are interested in more information or activities, please click the link for helpful family resources by grade level.
- Privacy and Security – Protecting private information, passwords, and going to appropriate places online is safe. Follow the link for helpful tips for your family.
- Digital Footprints and Identity – Sharing online can have an impact one’s sense of self, their confidence, reputation, and relationships. Follow the link for timely and helpful resources.
SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR RETURNS!
After three years, we are excited to bring the Scholastic Book Fair back to Marvista! All book sales from the fair benefit our school.
- Family Night, November 17 5-6:30pm
- Conference Week: November 21 – 22, 9am-4pm *

- Volunteer! If you are interested in volunteering, we would love to have your help.
- eWallet Setting up an eWallet is a fun and easy way for friends and family to contribute to your child’s book fair spending money.
*Students must be accompanied by an adult. During conferences, families with multiple conferences may not send siblings to the library alone. Thank you for understanding. Online sales will be available through November 29th.
