Greetings Marvista Families,
In the past few weeks, we have experienced a range of emotions. We have been so sad to lose Mr. Hoskins and also so happy to have Dr. Weston here to help us out. At times the feelings have been a bit confusing, but we have been supporting one another every step of the way. Thank you to everyone for your patience and grace as we have been refining new systems.
I am thrilled to announce the latest change to our schoolwide supports. Stephanie Moeller will be serving as our new Dean of Students for the remaining months of the school year. Her areas of work will include student behavior support, attendance monitoring, and schoolwide positive behavior intervention supports (PBIS). Dr. Weston will be leaving us to help another school.
Many of you know Ms. Moeller as a mainstay in our fabulous kindergarten program. This career shift has been one of her professional goals and we are thrilled that our need matched her aspirations. Thank you to Ms. Moeller’s kindergarten families for sharing her with our entire school community.
