Marvista Family Message for Dec. 11

Marvista Family Message for Dec. 11

Greetings Marvista Families,

Winter is fast approaching and with that brings possible challenges with weather. In our distance learning environment, we have replaced the worry of snow and ice with the worry of power and internet outages. At Marvista, we are beginning to prepare for all that the winter months have to offer.

In this world of distance learning, we will need your help. Below we have listed a chart with possible scenarios, including power and internet outages for teachers only, students only, or both teachers and students. We ask that you take some time to review the chart, in the event that we will be without internet or power in the coming months.

The scenarios include online resources provided by our district as well as how to document learning if your child has not logged in for the day. Thank you for all that you have done and for all that you continue to do to support our students. Please know that we are here to support you. If you have any questions you are always welcome to call our main office at 206-631-4200. Our team will work to connect you with the appropriate support staff.

Sincerely,
Maggie Heater
Assistant Principal
